Hi again!
Thanks for dropping by. I've been sick for a while with various infections, but I'm pretty much up and running now. Whilst ill, there was plenty of opportunity for yarn crafting! Two pictures I cannot share with you, as they are gifts for people and are winging their way to their recipients as I type. The others though, I can share!
I made my mum a pair of bootee slippers like the ones here for Christmas and I gave them along with some peppermint foot soak and foot stuff. They were very happily received but a week or so later, and mum wants another pair. Apparently, her bootees have made their way into bed, and they are oh so comfy warm in her wellies too! So, I whipped up this second pair for her, to match the lilac pyjamas I got her for Christmas too. I intend on whipping up another pair for her too, so she'll have two in the post to keep her tootsies warm.
Whilst looking around the patterns, I found these:
I was very impressed with how quickly they hooked up, and I chose the colours because the earthy tones and the red, well, I just fancied them together lol.
However, in my impressed mode, I made hubby try them on. In a flash, he'd claimed them. Apparently his feet had been cold recently and he hates the way slippers are too bulky or too flip flop like and come off his feet when he tucks them under himself on the sofa. So, as fetching as they looked on me, they are now keeping hubby's feet warm!
I have other stuff to share, but I wanted to just update you all, and let you know I'm still alive and kicking!

I'm glad you are feeling better. Slippers look cosy and comfy.
